For a long time, I thought I was the problem.
I couldn’t stay consistent in the way I was “supposed” to.
I struggled to follow rigid plans.
I would start strong… then stop, overthink, and reset.
It looked like a lack of discipline.
But it wasn’t.
It was misalignment.
The Truth About Neurodivergent Brains
If you have a neurodivergent brain — ADHD, autism, or even just a highly creative, fast-thinking mind — you don’t operate in straight lines.
You operate in:
- Patterns
• Bursts of energy
• Deep focus… followed by rest
• Intuition and internal signals
But most business and life advice is built for linear, consistent output.
So what happens?
You try to follow it.
It doesn’t work.
You blame yourself.
And the cycle repeats.
Personal Identity Comes First
Before strategy.
Before content.
Before goals.
There is you.
Your identity isn’t just who you think you are.
It’s:
- How you process information
• How you make decisions
• What energises you
• What drains you
• What your natural rhythm is
When you don’t understand this, you end up building a life that looks good on the outside…
But feels exhausting on the inside.
Human Design Changed How I See Everything
Human Design gave me language for something I had always felt but couldn’t explain.
That not everyone is designed to:
- Work the same way
• Decide the same way
• Create the same way
• Rest the same way
For example:
Some people are designed to initiate.
Some are designed to respond.
Some need time before making decisions.
Some need emotional clarity.
When you ignore this…
You create pressure.
When you honour it…
You create flow.
The Missing Piece: Your Nervous System
This is the part no one talks about enough.
You can know your identity.
You can understand your design.
You can have the perfect strategy.
But if your nervous system is dysregulated…
None of it will stick.
Because your body doesn’t feel safe to execute.
What Dysregulation Actually Looks Like
It’s not always obvious.
It can look like:
- Overthinking everything
• Starting but not finishing
• Procrastination
• Avoiding visibility
• Feeling overwhelmed by simple tasks
• Constantly changing direction
This isn’t laziness.
It’s your nervous system saying:
“This feels unsafe or too much right now.”
Regulation Before Strategy
This changed everything for me.
Instead of asking:
“What should I do next?”
I started asking:
“What state am I in right now?”
Because your state determines your capacity.
When you are regulated:
- You think more clearly
• You make better decisions
• You follow through
• You feel more grounded
When you’re dysregulated:
Everything feels harder than it should.
Simple Regulation Strategies That Actually Work
Not complicated. Not overwhelming. Just real.
1. Reduce the Pressure
Stop trying to do everything at once.
Your brain doesn’t need more input — it needs less noise.
2. Work With Your Energy, Not Against It
Notice your natural rhythms.
When do you feel focused?
When do you feel slower?
Build around that.
3. Create Micro-Wins
Instead of big overwhelming tasks:
Break everything down.
Small wins build safety.
Safety builds momentum.
4. Pause Before You Pivot
If you feel like changing direction constantly…
Pause.
That urge is often dysregulation — not intuition.
5. Regulate Before You Decide
Big decisions made in overwhelm are rarely aligned.
Take space.
Let your body settle.
Then decide.
Building a Life & Business That Aligns
Alignment isn’t about perfection.
It’s about:
- Knowing yourself
• Trusting your internal signals
• Creating systems that support your brain
• Letting go of what doesn’t fit
For me, this meant:
Moving away from rigid structures
And toward flexible, intelligent systems
It meant combining:
- Identity work
• Nervous system awareness
• Human Design
• Strategy
Not choosing one over the other.
The Shift That Changes Everything
The moment everything changed for me was when I stopped asking:
“How do I fix myself?”
And started asking:
“How do I support myself?”
Because you don’t need fixing.
You need understanding.
You need alignment.
You need systems that work for you.
Final Thoughts
You are not inconsistent.
You are not undisciplined.
You are not doing it wrong.
You’ve just been trying to operate in systems that don’t match your identity.
And the moment you start building a life and business that supports your brain, your energy, and your design.
Everything begins to feel different.
Lighter.
Clearer.

For many years, Natalie’s life revolved around one central role — being a mother and educator.
She spent a decade home-schooling her autistic son, adapting lessons, creating learning environments, and constantly thinking about how to support a mind that processed the world differently.

Instead of ignoring it, Natalie leaned into understanding it.
Natalie has studied various modalies and got certified in many of them, from personal identity, nervous system regulation, personal neurogetics and energetics, subconscious frequency, branding, photography and videography and video editing and Human Design, adhd coaching, and mindset coaching. This involved alot of exploring of how different people naturally make decisions and process information.
That exploration eventually led her to train as a Certified Mindset and Neurogetics Frequency Transformation Coach.
Suddenly, all the pieces of her life started to connect.
Her experience home-schooling.
Her years working with online entrepreneurs.
Her fascination with identity, strategy, and systems.
What emerged was a new direction.
Instead of simply helping entrepreneurs run their businesses, Natalie began helping them understand themselves first — and then build businesses around that understanding.
Today, that philosophy sits at the heart of her work.
Because in Natalie’s world, business isn’t just about strategy.
It’s about identity, alignment, and creating systems that support the way people truly think and operate.
