The Power of Choices

One of the things that makes humanity unique, is the power of choice.
Every day, multiple times per day, humanity displays that power. There is no choice too small or too big where that power isn't relevant.

There are 'triggers' that influence choices. And, if those 'triggers' aren't identified, especially in certain situations (i.e. murder and other acts of violence), then humanity gets an incorrect view of each other.
The reality is, God creates everyone as He sees fit; no one is here 'by accident'; no human is 'an animal' - the only reason some people are referred to 'as animals' is because, their actions are being compared to animals on the hunt.

Another reality is, God never creates anyone with evil traits; there is always the power of choice given. It was Satan who introduced negativity/evil, in Genesis 3. Satan was once one of God's angels He created, but Lucifer (Satan's name before becoming Satan) CHOSE to go against God (Isaiah 14:12-14); that's why Satan does everything he can to influence people to go against God.

No, no one ever 'has to' give into Satan's influence; that is a choice! Satan never forces anyone to commit evil - everyone has the power to choose to resist Satan; James 4:7 says that the devil (Satan) will flee if resisted.

So, why does it seem that it's so easy to give into Satan, instead of resisting his influence? One main reason, among others, is because people don't understand they have the power to choose differently. Yet, everyone given the capacity to choose, has the power to choose.

If Satan were resisted more, he would have no power. Yes, he is 'the god of this world' (2 Corinthians 4:4); yet, it everyone's (given the capacity to choose) individual choice that dictates whether or not he's given into.

So, how do we respond to evil circumstances? Remember who's behind those circumstances = Satan! Because humanity is created by God, Satan hates humanity as well as he hates God. Yes,
it's an individual choice whether or not to give into Satan; but, remember as well, no one is beyond God's loving power to eternally save; that's even an individal choice. This may help you understand more.
There's no rational reason to believe that anyone is beyond God's loving power to eternally save.

You have the power to choose - how will you choose, every choice you make? There's never a valid reason to give into Satan's influence; giving into Satan means people are getting James 4:7 reversed. (while no one would freely admit to doing that, how many times is it done, on a daily basis?)
Remember, there's so much power in every choice you make, every day - CHOOSE WISELY! (and choose to show compassion because, everyone is lovingly created by God - it's individual choices that dictate actions; no one ever 'has to' give into (choose) Satan's way).
