How do you find your authentic self?

Embracing yourself in all aspects, The light and dark and learning the dance in between the two to find who you are.

In the essence of life, the ancient knowledge of yin and yang represents the duality and balance of opposing forces. This dance between light and dark, good and bad, joy and sorrow is a timeless reminder that existence is an ebb and flow, a dance of contrasts that shape our experiences and perceptions.

Just as you cannot appreciate the brilliance of daylight without the shadow of night, you cannot truly know happiness without tasting the bitterness of sadness. The contrast between yin and yang is not about opposition, but rather about complementarity. It is through this interplay of opposites that we find meaning, balance, and ultimately, our authentic selves.

What to you is authenticity?

Imagine a painter creating a masterpiece. It is not the presence of colors alone that makes the painting beautiful, but the way they interact and contrast with each other. In a similar vein, our journey towards self-discovery and authenticity is enriched by the contrast of our experiences and emotions. Or is it unraveling what we have been taught or programmed to be/ believe to be?

To truly find your authentic self, it is essential to delve deep into your psyche, is it not?

Just as yin and yang are in constant motion, so too must we be willing to embrace change, challenge our assumptions, and confront the shadows within us.

By acknowledging and integrating both the light and dark aspects of ourselves, we can cultivate a greater sense of wholeness and inner peace. For instance if we keep rejecting the dark parts how can we fully accept ourselves or even heal what needs healing if we do not yet accept first?

Through this process of self-exploration and growth, we begin to unravel the layers of conditioning and societal expectations that have clouded our true essence.

What is true essence to you? I implore you to look deep within.

Like a lotus emerging from muddy waters, our authentic self blooms through the contrast of our past struggles and triumphs. It is in the dance between yin and yang that we find the raw beauty of our being, unencumbered by illusions or falsehoods.

So, as you navigate the complexities of life, remember that the contrast between light and dark is not a source of conflict, but a source of wisdom and clarity. Embrace the ebb and flow of existence, for it is within this eternal dance that you will find your true self shining brightly, like a beacon of light shining in a world of contrasts.

Some people have their own take of what authenticity is but I implore you to go within and see what it is for you and you alone.

It may be unconditional love…

It may be gratitude…

It may be truths, your truths…

It may be clearing old programming, (limiting beliefs.)
