Tell us about your books! What do you love to write about?
The Sleepy Hollow Hunter series started with a shared-world anthology concept and grew into an urban fantasy romance series packed with mystery, inter-dimensional adventure, and forbidden love.
The first place I lived as a child was in an apartment that was part of our town library. Maybe that had something to do with the countless hours I spent in my youth devouring the mystery and romance books in our small library.
My love of books and desire to build a career where I had flexibility to follow my passion, and stay home with my family, motivated me to become an author. I returned to college as an adult learner and graduated in 2015 from Seton Hill University’s program in writing popular fiction.
I’m eclectic reader. I love mysteries, romance, urban fantasy, historical fiction, and pretty much anything with magical elements. My taste runs from Diana Galbadon’s Outlander series to Rowling’s Harry Potter to Agatha Christie’s classic murder mysteries. Some of my favorite newer authors are Heather G. Harris with her Other Realm series, Carissa Andrew with her Accidental Alpha series, and K.F. Breene with her Magical Midlife series. That’s just the tip of my reading list!
