Tell us about your books! What do you love to write about?

I love to write wholesome epic fantasy adventure novels that nearly everyone can get lost in. Kids and adults alike are loving Once Upon a Rabbun's Tail, the first of four books.

The Furixie Series is deep enough for adults to really enjoy but is appropriate for ages ten and up. This creates the unique opportunity for varying generations to share the experience and talk about it! One of my readers is a grandfather who bought the book for himself as well as his granddaughters. Once Upon a Rabbun's Tail is something they can all enjoy separately while apart, then have something to talk about when they're together.

Whether you share the experience with someone else or not, if you're looking for a fun adventure with themes of friendship, courage, loyalty, and finding your own way without losing those character traits, try Once Upon a Rabbun's Tail. Leave this world behind and journey to Harmonyterra with Furixie. You'll find interesting characters (no humans!), a beautiful world with magic sprinkled throughout, and some laughs along the way. This novel boasts over four hundred and fifty pages for a fun and deep escape.

What inspired you to get started as an author?

My daughter is an avid reader, and when she was younger, I quickly ran out of books that were long enough to satisfy her (and keep her occupied for longer than forty-five minutes), that also had appropriate content. Around that time I happened to start writing for fun again, just short stories, and one of them was a fantasy adventure. I read it to my daughter and she just fell in love with my characters and the story. I had too, and was sad to put them away. So many ideas had sprung from this short story that I thought I could easily write something novel-length. My daughter begged me to write more, and I did, with lots more in the works. It became a favorite activity of ours to work on together, talking about Harmonyterra and all that would happen in it.

What are your favorite books to read?

Fantasy adventure, Arthurian and other mythological legends, dystopias, books that make me laugh (especially after a dystopia!), books on history, education, health, writing, productivity, and faith.
