Interview with One of the Amazing Black Friday Vendors!

Tell us about your business! What do you sell?

I create handmade jewelry for the woman who embraces her magic and follows her soul. Each piece is made and packaged with intention in the small town of Scappoose, Oregon.

What inspired you to get started as an entrepreneur?

In 2016, I lost my job of almost 13 years unexpectedly when the company I worked for went bankrupt. I was 8 months pregnant with my first child and I was the last employee to know. But they say the greatest blessings come in the disguise of bitter endings. Had I not lost my job at that exact moment – Shinnsparkle may have never been brought to life. This was the final “push” to create something beautiful, new and completely different.

Building Shinnsparkle has been the greatest personal growth lesson I have ever experienced. In fact, our Facebook Community I’ve built centers itself around the many facets of personal development – self care, mindset, manifestation and a little bit of magic.

I am truly honored to bring to you a brand who’s mission revolves around supporting, encouraging and uplifting women. To remind them of all that they are, and all that they will be.

Why do you think it’s important for holiday shoppers to buy from Small Businesses this year?

So many small businesses have been hit extra hard this year because of the pandemic. Even if they are online based businesses, they are still struggling with supplier shut downs, material shortages and shipping delays. Now more than ever it is so important to #shopsmall.

What is the HOT DEAL you have coming for Black Friday that we need to be on the look for?

Black Friday and Small Business Saturday sales are always one of the BIGGEST sales of the year with the best discounts! We have so many items on our workbench right now getting ready to be listed for the big weekend!

What’s the message you want to get out to people this Holiday Season?

Energy flows where our attention goes. This year, we’re paying extra attention to the meaning and intention behind each and every gift. Choosing pieces that speak to us, and curating items that we know our friends and family will absolutely resonate with. I promise you, they will notice all the thought you that went into their gift!
