S.A. Reinhart grew up in the mountains outside of Las Vegas. Her passion for writing started as a young teen, but it wasn’t until she gathered enough life experience, that she had the courage to write novels. Mystical Love, along with her upcoming series of paranormal romance novels, was inspired by divine timing and spiritual healing work. When she is not writing, she is teaching people about spiritual tools for a more fulfilling life, hanging out with her family and having fun date nights with her husband.

What kind of work do you do? I am write paranormal romance novels (author), and help women become more calm and decisive through spiritual practices by showing them how to use their intuition (spiritual teacher).
What inspired you to get started as an entrepreneur? I don’t like doing what people tell me to do. Haha. I’m inspired by life and know that I can make a difference in the world through a business.
What was your biggest struggle to get things going for your online business? My biggest struggle to get started was that I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. I started, then stopped, then started and stopped. When I finally figured out how to have better boundaries, particularly online with the 24 hour scroll hole, I felt better about it.
Was there a time you thought about giving up? What kept you from quitting? Quitting was never an option, but when you run out of money and it doesn’t seem to be working, it can get tough. I shut down my business and followed my joy. I’ve pivoted several times in my entrepreneurial journey. What keeps me going is this innate whisper that I am meant to be doing something more. That is what keeps me from totally throwing in the towel.
What have you learned since beginning? I’ve learned that you don’t have to do it alone. The entrepreneurial journey can be a lonely one. Like I explain in my book, the female character is an overachiever and denies herself the help she needs to get things done more easily. She blocks out the very people who can help her the most, but she doesn’t realize it. I was like that in the beginning, but I’ve learned how to cultivate patience and a leadership style that allows me to go further with the support that I need.
What’s the best advice you’ve received? I’ve gotten so much advice over the years, but the one thing that sticks out is if you’re not selling you don’t have a business. Getting over the selling and marketing part was tough, but if I wanted a hobby, I wouldn’t be paying for a business license. Haha. I’m still working through asking for the sale consistently, but now I know you have to have the passion in what you are selling to make it easy to ask.
What advice would you give someone just starting out? Start where you are. A lot of people I know, me included, will get all stuck in the feeling of needing another certification or a perfectly built website to start. Well, guess what. I had a perfect website and a crap-ton of certifications, but I didn’t have a single sale. Most of my sales are word-of-mouth by people who know me or have gotten to know me. All you really need is a place for someone to pay you (like cash, Stripe or PayPal) and a service or product you provide. I’ve sold more custom crystal energy bracelets through text messaging than anywhere else. Just remember to be authentic, be clear on how you or your product helps people, and share about your awesomeness, because you are awesome.
What’s the professional win you’re most proud of? I am most proud of going from a mindset of “I’m not a writer” to published author. Once I opened to it, I wrote the first book in a month, the second book in three months and the third book in four months. This whole transformation took about a year.
Which book(s) would you recommend to help entrepreneurs with success and personal development? Of course I would recommend Manifesting on Purpose by Amanda Rose. I also love The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and Sell or Be Sold by Grant Cardone. Between these three books, you can move forward with changing the course of your life as an entrepreneur.

Do you have a routine that you attest to your success? If yes, what is it? The biggest player in my success is first defining what success means to me. I’m not a fancy yacht, sipping martinis in Bali kind of gal. In fact, give me a forest to take my shoes off in with a T-shirt, hoodie and jeans and I’m set for life. As far as a daily routine, though, I create space for myself first thing in the morning. Schedules are hectic in my house and my morning time with Spirit sets my day up for success, even if I only have 5 minutes. I also run through my day at night and forgive myself for not doing all the things. I remind myself how loved I am. Self-compassion is the gateway to success, in my opinion.
How has social media played a factor in your success? I love social media to connect with people. I have met so many wonderful and like-minded people through these platforms. The more people I know, the more I can support and be supported by the small business owner community.
What are the biggest social media mistakes you see commonly made? Spammy DMs. When you accept someone’s friend request and they try to sell you something after asking how you are doing, that chaps my hide. I’ve even had people reach out to me and ask “how would you like 10 new clients this week?” Being an author and kind of a hermit, that sounds awful. If they would have read my profile, they would know I’m not a coach. I usually block those people.
What is the business tool that’s been most helpful? There are so many out there, but I come back to Meta. Content creation can stump me sometimes, but it frees up time when I can set up posts for the week and forget about it. Other than that, Google Calendar has been my best friend to keep my business, work and family life all straight.
Is there something you wish everyone knew? I wish everyone knew what self-care is. Like success, the definitions can change for the individual. I don’t give a crap about getting my nails done, but if you attempt to take away my morning tea, you will see the beast arise. LOL! Taking care of your body, even in the most basic way, is self-care. Saying ’no’ when you don’t want to do something is also self-care. Also, can we please get plenty of sleep, people? If you’re burning the candle at both ends, it’s time to loosen up the schedule.
What’s coming up for you in the next few months? I have some very exciting things on the horizon. I’m re-launching my website with downloadable products to help the overthinking and frazzled mind. I’ve also got an audiobook ready to unleash very soon.
What has being successful taught you? It doesn’t matter how successful others perceive you to be (better or worse), if you don’t see your success, it will bleed the joy out of your life. I make sure I have friends around to tell me how far I’ve come, just so I can see it. We all need the help sometimes.
What are some fun facts about you? Fun facts about me: I love to cook and I do it well. I can speak German but not very well. I have been told I’m on the dyslexia spectrum, yet I wrote, read and recorded my own audiobook. My favorite fruit is a nectarine and I look forward to summertime ONLY for that reason.
