If you were on Facebook on June 24th you probably saw... huge swaths of Entrepreneurs LOST their Facebook groups. Thousands of Facebook groups across Indonesia, Canada, the U.S.A., Thailand, Vietnam, and more countries have been suspended or removed unexpectedly. It was a MASS FB GROUP removal.

We're talking well established groups by 6 and 7 figure Entrepreneurs with 10s and even 100s of THOUSANDS of members in them! POOF! GONE!

For some of them that's their whole business down the drain.

I've had people in my inbox 📥 in a panic all day trying to figure out WHY these groups got shut down...

SPOILER: They got shut down fairly arbitrarily, with broad reasons given (violations cited such as AI, nudity, etc.), and not always accurately. AKA the FB AI/Algorithm flagged them and shut them down; most of them had not violated any community standards.

I've said for YEARS: You DO NOT own your socials. You ONLY own your LIST.

May 31st my Facebook profile was suspended. Reason cited? Cybersecurity Community Standard Violation. I can unequivocally state after reviewing that Community standard that I have never violated it.

Again, their AI/Algorithm is not always accurate.

Over 3-Weeks later and I'm still waiting for them to review my appeal and I may NEVER get my account back.

All this to say: BUILD. YOUR. EMAIL. LIST.
