In "The Money Epiphany," you address the silent struggle of financial imposter syndrome among high-achieving women. Can you explain why this issue is so prevalent despite outward success, and how your approach in financial therapy helps women overcome it?
In my first book, The Money Epiphany: Beyond Numbers, the Art of Embracing Emotional Wealth, I uncover a fundamental truth: money is an inner game. Financial success alone—no matter the size of our portfolio, account balance, or career achievements—won't create a lasting sense of “enough” if we haven’t rewired our beliefs, nervous system, energetics, and relationship with money. For high-achieving women, this inner work is essential, as financial imposter syndrome and burnout often hide deep-seated feelings of inadequacy that external success alone can never resolve. As a financial therapist, I work closely with high-achievers who are especially prone to burnout. I see firsthand that burnout isn’t just about overloading one’s schedule; it’s an emotional and physiological response that arises when we avoid processing negative emotions or live out of sync with our true values. This disconnection from self drains energy, leaving many women feeling unfulfilled, regardless of their outward success. My signature Trifecta Financial Therapy Framework directly addresses this by integrating money mindset shift, behavioral financial planning, and somatic breathwork healing—reconnecting women to a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with money. This journey goes beyond money management; it’s about achieving genuine emotional alignment and empowerment. By reconnecting with their core values and embracing both emotional and physiological wellness, high-achieving women can experience abundance that feels authentic and deeply fulfilling. The Money Epiphany serves as a compassionate guide on this path, helping women understand that true wealth emerges when money and emotions are in harmony, making money a source of inner peace and freedom—not merely an external measure of success.
Your book introduces concepts like the Law of Resonance and the Trifecta Financial Therapy Framework. How do these holistic methods integrate emotional well-being with financial planning to create a sustainable path to abundance and prevent burnout?
Building on the above answer, the Law of Resonance, a principle rooted in physics, profoundly shapes how we interact with money, showing that our vibrational frequency—our thoughts, emotions, and experiences—naturally attracts similar energies from the world around us. Much like tuning forks vibrating in harmony, our energy around money works in the same way, either inviting abundance or reinforcing scarcity based on its tone. When we’re caught in a mindset of fear or lack, we resonate with financial struggles, yet by aligning our energy with abundance and gratitude, we activate a powerful process that draws in positive financial outcomes and opportunities. This principle invites us to look beyond numbers and engage with the energetic foundation of our financial reality, consciously tuning our inner frequency to one of abundance and actively rewriting our financial narrative to align with our deepest desires and potential. My Trifecta Financial Therapy Framework brings this concept to life practically: first, by helping us shift our money mindset to break through limiting beliefs and old money stories, embodying worthiness and a genuine sense of “enoughness.” Behavioral financial planning then anchors these new beliefs with clear, values-based strategies, empowering individuals to make financial choices that resonate with their authentic selves. Finally, somatic breathwork healing releases stored stress from the body, rebalancing the nervous system to cultivate resilience and protect against burnout. Through The Money Epiphany, I guide readers on this transformative journey, revealing that true wealth emerges when we align our finances with our highest vibrational state and most genuine intentions.
How does your second book "Breathe to Wealth" explain the connection between breathwork and improving one's financial well-being?
In Breathe to Wealth: An Infinite Guide to Somatic Financial Healing, my second book, I dive even deeper into the somatic breathwork healing component of my Trifecta Financial Therapy Framework, expanding on the journey I began in The Money Epiphany. This book guides readers through a transformative path from financial stress to genuine self-empowerment, revealing how something as foundational as our breath can reshape our financial reality. Money is not just a mind game; it’s a body game profoundly influenced by our nervous system. Financial decisions extend beyond logical calculations—they’re rooted in our emotions and shaped by the physiological responses stored within us, particularly in the nervous system. That’s why more money and more success don’t automatically translate to financial peace. In Breathe to Wealth, I explore how breathwork acts as a bridge to understanding and mastering this complex web of emotions and physical responses that often unconsciously drive our financial choices. By tuning into the body’s signals through intentional breathwork, we begin to access and transform the underlying patterns that may keep us feeling financially anxious or unsatisfied, regardless of external success. This approach allows us to make financial decisions from a place of alignment, calm, and empowerment—leading to a sense of financial peace that can’t be achieved through external achievements alone. In Breathe to Wealth, I show how breathwork impacts everything from brainwaves to the nervous system, rewiring our mental pathways to foster prosperity and resilience. Readers will discover techniques to transform emotional stress into emotional intelligence, using breath as a tool for emotional alchemy. I discuss how engaging the Reticular Activating System and neuroplasticity allows us to reprogram our minds for abundance. More than just a financial guide, Breathe to Wealth is a journey that connects breath with well-being, revealing the practical power of breath biohacks for optimizing financial health. Through this book, I invite readers to experience breathwork as a pathway to both emotional and financial freedom, showing that true wealth begins within.
How does your book "The Money Epiphany" guide readers toward harmonizing financial success with emotional confidence and inner peace?
The Money Epiphany addresses the underlying beliefs, money stories, and emotional patterns that often drive financial stress and anxiety. Many high achievers find themselves outwardly successful yet internally conflicted, struggling with financial imposter syndrome and a sense of unease around their wealth. This book is designed to help them bridge that gap. As I discussed earlier, The Money Epiphany introduces a holistic approach to financial well-being through my Trifecta Financial Therapy Framework, which combines money mindset shift, behavioral financial planning, and somatic breathwork healing. Through money mindset work, readers uncover and transform the limiting beliefs that often leave them feeling “not enough,” despite their achievements. Behavioral financial planning then helps align their financial goals with their core values, creating a financial path that feels authentic and empowering, rather than stressful or disconnected. The book also explores somatic breathwork healing, addressing the body’s fight-or-flight response to financial triggers—a topic I delve even deeper into in my second book, Breathe to Wealth. Ultimately, The Money Epiphany guides readers toward a relationship with money that feels aligned, confident, and deeply peaceful. It shows that true wealth is not just about financial success; it’s about feeling empowered, at ease, and whole in both finances and life. This journey transforms money from a source of stress into a source of fulfillment and self-assurance.
In what ways does your work at Epiphany Financial Therapy empower women to achieve newfound financial confidence and emotional well-being?
At Epiphany Financial Therapy, my work centers on empowering women toward financial power, peace, and prosperity. Money is a deeply personal topic, often layered with stress, and studies back this up: according to the American Psychological Association, money is the number one stressor in people’s lives. In fact, 75% of women earning over $250,000 a year still feel a lack of control over their finances. Money isn’t just about numbers; it’s an emotional journey, one that many women find challenging to discuss, even with those closest to them. That’s why Epiphany Financial Therapy exists—to create a safe, supportive, and discreet space where women can openly explore their money stories, share their deepest financial worries, and receive the tools and guidance needed to align with both short- and long-term goals. I help women expand their capacity to receive and enjoy abundance without guilt or stress. My approach combines the practical with the deeply personal. With years of experience in wealth management, I recognized a critical gap in the industry: financial advisors often overlook the emotional and behavioral side of money management, while traditional therapists typically lack financial expertise. This is where Epiphany Financial Therapy steps in, bridging that gap to help women take their money stress from ten to zen. By exploring the beliefs, emotions, and past experiences that shape their financial behaviors, women can begin making intentional, values-aligned financial choices. I’ve seen time and again that when we transform our inner relationship with money, our outer financial reality follows suit. At Epiphany Financial Therapy, my mission is to empower women not only to achieve financial success but to cultivate a calm, confident, and truly fulfilling relationship with money—one that brings lasting peace and power to their lives.
