Please tell us, who are you and what work do you do?
Hey everyone! I’m Brooke Allison Wandling, your Mind Shift Coach and Achievement Strategist, dog mom, solo dance partier, rule breaker, and high-energy friend! My business is Brooke Allison Coaching® and I am passionate about helping ambitious entrepreneurs scale to their next 6 figures by creating a business and a mindset that is Fiercely Unstoppable®! I work with men and women to rewire their brain and master their personal psychology so they can release anything holding them back subconsciously. My clients come to me when they are ready to fulfill the freedom lifestyle they desire while creating the impact and income they are chasing after. I truly believe through energy activation, courageous confidence, and proven strategies, your success is inevitable!
What got you started as an entrepreneur?
Where do I even begin?! I have always been someone who thinks outside of the box and have always been ambitious with big goals. My little girl dream was to be Celine Dion’s backup dancer! I have always been a big dreamer and I've always known I am meant to leave a legacy. My journey has gone in many directions but my purpose has never changed, I am destined to impact the masses! In 2014, I graduated with a BFA in Visual Art with a Photography Emphasis and a Dance Minor. I truly thought I would get a job easily after graduation and that just didn’t happen!
Month after month, no art job, no anything! To gain some extra income, in November of that year, I started my first business, an MLM business and I LOVED IT! I dove all in, I loved the comradery and the community, but most of all I loved that this opportunity encouraged me to start dreaming again! The next thing I knew about 5 months later, I was packing up my life in a 10x10 truck and moving across the country to Colorado with the man I was dating at the time. I had just quit my job of 5 years, moved out of my parent's home, started a new job, moved across the country, and moved in with my boyfriend. Talk about too many life-changing decisions at one time. Unfortunately soon after moving, my relationship escalated to something that was unhealthy, unsafe, and abusive. I knew I had to get out.
I’m not going to say it was easy because it wasn’t, but eventually, I got the courage to leave that situation and move out on my own. I’m telling you all of this because if it wasn’t for this relationship, I would not have the business that I have today as a business and mindset coach. Without having the opportunity to overcome this obstacle, I would not have had the chance to grow myself, my mindset, and become the confident version of me that I am today, and now be able to impact others!
Through adversity comes champions and I am a freakin' champion! I truly believe those "enough is enough" moments save you and when you finally make a decision to change, you are unstoppable. While growing myself, I continued to grow my MLM business and I grew it all the way to the top 4% of the company! I was on my way to earning my first free car and becoming the top 1% of the company when I met this woman at the mall. Believe it or not, she is the one who changed my life and introduced me to the world of coaching. It is now July of 2017, the beginning of Brooke Allison Coaching®.
At the time, I was working 3 jobs, and running my MLM business, seen as a major success yet I still couldn’t pay the bills. I had been on food assistance for almost a year at that point and I had no idea how things were going to become different for my life but all I kept telling myself "this situation was temporary!"
Finding the coaching world completely changed my life! I had been praying to do something more. I remember feeling like a bird who had her wings clipped and when I started my coaching business, I just knew this was exactly what I was meant to do with my life. I got started and generated 6 figures within my first year and within 5 years Brooke Allison Coaching® generated over $1 Million USD.
What's the #1 thing you've learned since becoming an entrepreneur?
As an entrepreneur you never stop learning lessons but one of the most important lessons I learn over and over again is to make sure you have your desires and your 'why' in your focus. It's easy to get distracted by looking at others, by your results or lack of, by things not feeling like they are working, and even be distracted by your own success. Burnout happens when we forget the bigger mission and deeper purpose behind our daily work. To refocus you first need to remember your power and then create or revive your desires. Once you know where you are going you can easily make a plan to get there. Clarity + Confidence = Cash Flow.
Congratulations on being a featured author in I'm a F*cking Entrepreneur Vol. 2! What's been your favorite part of being in this project?
Being a featured author in 'I'm a F*cking Entrepreneur Vol. 2!' has been such a fun journey from making the decision to join, to writing my chapter, to holding the finished book in my hands. I would have to say my favorite moment has to be the feeling I got when receiving the finished book product and seeing the work physically complete. There is nothing quite like being able to hold something you put effort into.
How do you feel this book will help readers?
Stories and success leave clues. The readers are going to love the motivated feeling they will receive while reading about people who have done and achieved goals they personally want to achieve.
Was there a part of your story that was difficult to share?
At one time I was nervous talking about my emotionally abusive relationship and being on food stamps. I was embarrassed and afraid of what people would think about me or that they would look down on me for having life experiences like those. It's not hard for me to share anymore because I've been sharing it for years however, what helped me share in the beginning was knowing other people are currently going through what I've overcome and they deserve to know they can have a different life.
Is there a piece of advice you wish every entrepreneur could know?
You are the only one who can make this happen for you. There is so much potential for you to succeed as long as you continue to go after it. You can do this and there is no amount of time too small to make massive results happen. You just have to take action and focus on your desires each and every day.
