Entrepreneurs always ask me “how do you build a 6-figure business?” So, let's talk about it.

First thing is first; "how?" Is the wrong question. I know, you've been inundated by advertising along the lines of, "six simple steps to six figures," and while that's a great marketing slogan that's a hot load of steam BS.

Business is not a 6 simple steps thing; it's a 1000-piece puzzle and you don't know what image you are trying to make the damn pieces form! Not only that... your journey to success is your journey! It will be different from mine.

Your business is different, what works for you will be different, so there's no step-by-step one-size-fits-all business plan. Having said that, there are foundations you can work on to guide you to those answers.

Personal Development

Your business can only grow to the extent that you do. Invest in your growth. There are many ways to do this through, books, courses, coaches, success partners, masterminds, podcasts, memberships, masterclasses, or mentorships.

Passion and Purpose

Follow your passion. It takes more effort to work a business you don't love because it won't naturally energize you. Monetize what you love to do, you'll look forward to doing it every day.

Strategy

There's a lot to learn as an entrepreneur. Commit to learning it all, which includes but is not limited to, sales, marketing, USP, positioning, mindset, funnels, website, PR exposure, scaling, news jacking, passive income, residual income, working income, contracts, quotes, affiliates, advertising, graphics and branding.

Surrender

How is the domain of the Universe. If you knew what to do to create the results you want, you'd already have accomplished your goals. Your logical egoic mind does not have the answers, because it can only pull from past experiences. To grow and experience something new you must allow your higher self to be the guide. Your job is to know what you desire, how it happens is up to the Universe. It will guide you; follow your intuitive nudge.

Patience

Be in it for the long haul. We live in a society of instant gratification. Statistically most businesses don't do well until their 5th year. Commit. Don't give up. Believe in yourself.
