Tell us about your books! What do you love to write about?

Fantasy with a touch of realism. Herald is a child’s fantasy book about a dog chosen to be a child’s Christmas present, but sometimes situations change between mailing a letter to Santa and Christmas Eve. Herald represents people who are coping with change, as he did.

What inspired you to get started as an author?

My childhood home was full of books, and I was encouraged to read. I lived in a rural area so books were my friends.

What are your favorite books to read?

I like Regency romance, time travel, historical fiction, suspense, action and adventure – most any genre.

For shoppers holiday shopping for their loved ones, tell us who are your book(s) for?

Children – Herald, the Christmas Dachshund is available in hard cover, paperback, e-print and I recently published a coordinated coloring book. My grandsons approved the book.

What’s the message you want to get out to people this Holiday Season?

Family, tolerance, and civility.
