Tell us about your business! What do you sell?

My name is Alisha and I am the owner of Gypsy Quartz & Apothecary. It is a small business that started with crystal sales and handmade one of a kind jewelry. Over the years it has evolved and we now offer some amazing boxes! Combination of crystals, apothecary, and bath/body items that come in a monthly box. Each month is a new assortment. And just in time for the holidays you can purchase a single box rather than signing up for the monthly subscription.

What inspired you to get started as an entrepreneur?

I have always had a passion for being self employed. I like to set my own hours, and truly feel that as an entrepreneur I am able to divide time with my family more than I would working a standard 9-5.

Why do you think it’s important for holiday shoppers to buy from Small Businesses this year?

Now more than ever, and amongst COVID 19 small businesses are struggling. Rather than supporting big businesses a purchase from a small shop can make the difference of being able to put their own presents under the tree this year.

It is all about shopping local and supporting the little guy! We are in this together and even a single purchase can make a huge difference!
