This week I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing the lovely Brooke Allison! This lovely lady is quite the traveler, has the most amazing hair, the biggest smile, and a heart of gold!
About Brooke:
Brooke Allison is a Multiple Six Figure Mind Shift Expert and Achievement Strategist, currently living in St. Louis, MO however for the last 4 years, she lived in Denver, Colorado. The following is our interview, my questions in BOLD and her answers follow.
What kind of work do you do?
Hello hello, I’m excited to be here! My name is Brooke Allison, I’m a Mind Shift Expert and Achievement Strategist! I help badass entrepreneurs scale to 6 figures and $10k cash months with complete confidence by creating a business and a mindset that is fiercely unstoppable! I believe that no matter what life has thrown at you, what obstacles come your way, your circumstances do not dictate your future, your power, and your success!
What inspired you to get started as an entrepreneur?
I absolutely love this question however the answer isn’t just an easy answer. We have to backtrack through an abusive relationship, financial struggle, being on food stamps, and all sorts of obstacles!
I started my first business when I was 22! It was a network marketing business and I loved the idea of making more money! (who doesn’t?!) I loved the comradery, I loved the business, but most of all, I loved that it allowed me to start dreaming again! Not long after I got the courage to move to Colorado and my ex boyfriend came with me. Our relationship was never really great but I didn’t know it was abusive. I didn’t know how unhealthy and unsafe it was until I moved. Not long after moving I finally understood how bad my situation was and I finally left it.
My confidence as below zero, I felt like that was the love I deserved and I wasn’t worthy of anything more. I could barely get out of bed each day. It was rough. One day I woke up and had this enough is enough moment! I heard a voice in my head say “This is not the life you are meant to live, you are not being the powerful Brooke you know you are meant to be.” Those words shook me to my core and I knew that was the beginning of me taking my power back.
Fast forward two years, in the Spring of 2017 I was working my NWM business along with 3-4 part time jobs and hustling HARD. I had the confidence, I had a passion but I was broke. In fact broke is an understatement! Every month I couldn't pay my bills, in fact I was so broke I was on food assistance. Again, I knew this wasn’t the life I was meant to live! I was meant for more, I was meant to impact the masses and I promised once I figured out this whole money thing, I would help others do the same!
Cue the coaching world! I had a wonderful woman I met introduced me to facebook groups where almost everyone was in this one group was a coach. I didn’t even know this world existed 2 and a half years ago! Instantly I knew this was my next step, and I ran towards my goals!
$20k in sales, $50k in sales, $100k in sales, before I knew it, I hit my first $17k cash month within my first 6 months of business and 6 figures in my first full year of business! I just celebrated my 2 year business anniversary and my goal is now Millionaire by 30!
What was your biggest struggle to get things going for your online business?
My own mindset! Going from food stamps and never having enough to even pay the bills to $10k months and above took a lot of work! Fears creep up for all of us, it’s important to quiet them and continue to do what your soul is calling you to do regardless if you know it will work out or not!
-Was there a time you thought about giving up? What kept you from quitting?
YES. In fact I can guarantee almost all entrepreneurs have! There is a cycle of emotions that we go through as human beings and I teach this all the time to my high level clients but there is an “I quit” phase in the cycle. This could look like looking for other jobs, not doing the work you know you need to do, avoiding responsibilities, etc. Regardless here is the deal, my mission and my message is bigger than this bullshit (fear, doubts,’what-if’s’). This business isn’t about me, it’s about the hundreds and thousands of people I am meant to serve! When you have a strong enough why you’ll never give up!
Next time you feel like giving up, ask yourself this. ‘Is this fear a valid enough reason for me to quit and not live out my dream?’
What have you learned since beginning?
With 2 different businesses under my belt, I’ve learned A LOT but the biggest lesson is to do the work that needs to be done and get yourself to feeling confident and powerful each day while doing the strategy! This is the key to success and I wish this would have clicked so much sooner!
Don’t overthink things, don’t allow doubt and fear to derail you for long. If you get pushed down, get back up and continue to run! You didn’t come this far to only come this far!
What’s the best advice you’ve received?
This is such a hard question because I feel like I’ve received such great advice in all of my growth I’ve done these past 5 years and with all the mentors I’ve had. However, one of the things I’m constantly working on and some of the best advice given was to take emotion out of it! This can be used for anything, relationships, decisions, falling outs, client disagreements, etc. but especially in all things business. We need to have the ability to remove emotions to proceed and persevere in business with all the ups and downs!
What advice would you give someone just starting out?
Keep going! Don’t give up, this is on your heart for a reason and it’s meant for you and it WILL happen for you if you keep going! Everyone at the top has been knocked down hundreds and thousands of times but they chose to get back up!
You’ve got this, you CAN do this, it’s already meant for you! Choose to activate faith instead of listen to fear and run after what you want!
What’s the professional win you’re most proud of?
AH I love this question! Wow how can I pick just one?!? I think the most amazing achievement for me is my first ever 5 figure month. I had a $17k cash month within the first 6 months of my business and to celebrate, I took my mom on an all paid for trip by my business to Maui, Hawaii!! It was such an amazing milestone for me and my business!
Is there a book you’d recommend to help with success and personal development?
There is SO many!! The best thing I recommend is to find a book that fires you up! When you get excited that is where inspiration flows with ease and you know exactly what action to take.
Personal favorites → You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero, A Happy Pocket Full of Money by David Cameron Gikandi, Failing Forward by John Maxwell.
Do you have a routine that you attest to your success? If yes, what is it?
Yes! My non negotiables are:
-Moving my body (workout/ walk/ hike/ etc)
-Reading or listening to something motivational or strategic (I love asking myself “What can I learn today and how can I teach it?”)
-Negative thought transformation (drawing out the thoughts or fears keeping me stuck)
-Journaling (working through the negative thought then going into gratitude and affirmations)
-Future Casting (speaking my future results as if they are already here)
I may add in extra things like EFT, meditation, etc but it just depends on what I feel I need in that time! I do whatever I can to feel really high vibe and confident. Of course I do my strategy work as well but as far as morning routines go, this is the gist of it.
How has social media played a factor in your success?
Social Media is everything! My current business is all online, I’ve met all of my clients online and built an international business because of it!
What are the biggest social media mistakes you see commonly made?
One of the biggest mistakes I see (or should say don’t see) is people not showing up because of fear, doubt, and comparison! Without showing up, getting visible, and sharing your message you cannot make the impact you are destined to make!
What is the business tool that’s been most helpful?
Of course I love things like dubsado, bluehost, zoom, google drive but it’s not any of that. I know this sounds crazy but my instant thought is my mindset work! When you are feeling powerful and confident AF you are unstoppable! This is the key to massive cash and up-leveling in your business.
Another “business tool” I LOVE and couldn’t be without is my high vibe biz buddies and bffs!
Is there something you wish everyone knew?
I honestly wish everyone in the world knew how capable they are to change their life at any moment in time! You are not too old, young, whatever you are saying is keeping you where you are right now, you can change and be successful, happy, free, fulfilled, starting now!
What’s coming up for you in the next few months?
OH MY GOSH! So many exciting things! I am launching my signature program right now where I get to help 25 entrepreneurs scale to $10k cash months! I’m also getting certified in hypnosis, EFT, NLP, T.I.M.E. Techniques, Hypnosis, and Success Coaching next month which will be a HUGE up level for my clients and in my business! I am also going to be a published author soon!

What has being successful taught you?
Being successful has taught me more than ever to sit in gratitude daily! I’ve always had this in my practice but I think it’s even more important the more success you have. It’s easy to get caught up in the doing and the more more more. I’m a high achiever and I LOVE achieving and helping my clients achieve some kick ass financial goals and personal goals but when we pass the celebration and don’t show gratitude for what we have achieved and how far we’ve come, it closes off to receiving more!
Celebrate yourself and be grateful for where you are because there was a time you wished for being there!
What are some fun facts about you?
-I’ve walked on fire!
-I’ve been to 15 countries before the age of 20 (new goal 30 by the age of 30)
-Elephants are my favorite animal!
-My first time on stage was when I was 3 years old!
-I could totally eat tacos and drink a margarita every day!
-My little girl dream was to be Celine Dion’s backup dancer!
