Meet Arooj Ashraf... the CEO and Founder of the TRI-AMP Method

I am a multi-passionate entrepreneur who has always loved the arts, and connecting people. I grew up on three continents so bridging the gap of communication through cultural exchange has always been important to me. I started my journalism career right out of college and worked as a freelance reporter for eight years and during that time I built my own branding agency to help small non profits with their design and marketing needs. Through my networks and leadership I was elected as President of a multi-cultural non-profit organization that focused on collaboration among the 119 ethnic communities. My creative ventures and leadership led to many adventures ultimately paving the way for my current role as a business growth and branding strategist. I use my 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur to help women identify the gaps in their business that are preventing them from achieving their highest income.
I work exclusively with women entrepreneurs in the service industries who are driven by passion and hope to transform the lives of their clients. My role is to help them achieve their dreams with maximum efficiency so they can reclaim their time, and health. I coach them through a nine week process to strengthen their business foundations so they can scale rapidly and increase their revenue to 7 figures while also increasing their global impact.
Starting this business was about divine intervention and absolute divine timing. I was running two successful award winning businesses while working a corporate job when my marriage came crashing down. After years of deceit and manipulation I finally woke to some harsh realities that shattered every aspect of my being. I had a rough choice to make between living or dying a slow miserable death. So I made the call to leave everything and start over from scratch. This gave me the beautiful opportunity to rebuild myself in complete authenticity of who I am. As I did an audit of all my skills and the type of people I was always helping it was clear to me that my core strength is in helping women build profitable businesses with absolute clarity. Mostly, I was really devastated to find how many women were still in abusive relationships because they were not financially stable. I am forever grateful that I had the financial means to escape and I want to empower women to find that leverage in their skills so they can live life on their own terms.
I have never been a quitter in my life. And that is what kept me in toxic situations far longer than it should have. The most valuable thing I learned was it is OK to let some things, and some people go. For me starting over from scratch was a definite blow to my self-worth. Going through the horrible consequences of leaving a narcissist really exhausted me emotionally and sometimes finding the strength to carry on was difficult to muster. I battled thoughts of self harm, suicide and depression.
What really kept me motivated was the testimonials from the women I was helping for my case studies. Getting calls from them to help then through their problems and provide solid results for them really motivated me to keep going.
Since starting this business I have learned to recognize that we are never lost or on the wrong path, everything in our journey the obstacles and the rewards are creating a unique path that is exclusively ours. I know there is no one else in the world who had walked the exact same journey that I am on, but I am also more aware to see the patterns and similarities between the collective experiences. There is so much humility in recognizing and honoring the path other people are on.
The best advice that I have ever received is to enjoy being in the present with the gratitude of someone who is not going to live for another breath. This really shifted my mindset to seek out the incredible things in my life that I can be grateful for.
My advice to any woman considering starting her own business is to DO IT. Jump in with all your heart and soul but DO your research. Learn everything and anything you can get your hands on, talk to as many people as you can. Find out every aspect of what it takes to be successful. And be so focused and passionate about managing your time and energy that this dream has no chance BUT to appear for you.
I was recognized for my leadership and ability to bring together 119 ethnic communities to one platform for education and business collaboration. To this day, that is my favorite accomplishment. Because building strong relationships between people that last a lifetime is something I see as a tremendous gain for everyone and the world around them.
I am not huge fan of social media, and I have never really invested time on it until recently. I guess I am more old school in terms of connections should be built in person. However I do appreciate its ability to connect people from all over the world to one common denominator. There is tremendous value in utilizing it with a purpose. The greatest mistake that I made and see other entrepreneurs fall into is the rush for the instant gratification of likes and follows. The popularity contest and ever decreasing attention span seriously worries me for the intellectual well-being of our society. However, when you dig deeper every person is just looking for a connection, to be understood and hear. And that is powerful. What I am transitioning into is telling the stories I wish I would see more of. And reaching out to the story tellers to build relationships.
My favorite business tool is my CRM, It is my life saver, my assistant, my task buddy. Everything is so wonderful and runs efficiently. Highly recommend looking for one that adapts to your business needs.
I wish everyone recognized how incredibly talented they really are. I talk to so many people who feel like they have nothing unique or theirs to offer. That just is not true. There really is magic in all of us that society has dimmed and I want to see more people shine in their own reflection. Claim your own space, and tell your own story. The other thing I want women to really understand is that business is not a competition, we can all succeed together.
I am thrilled to be launching my Million In One program to help women founders scale their businesses to seven figures in just one year. My dream is to help create 100 women millionaires, because I truly believe women empowered and financially prosperous will change the world far more quickly than ever. I think it is time that we see more women treating this milestone as a no-brainer.
Along with that I am doing shorter bootcamp courses for women who want to launch a passion or service based idea and be profitable from day one. I do think business can be a science if you have the right tools, it is easier.
Being successful has taught me that anything is possible if you have the right mindset. View obstacles as lessons, defeats as second chances and success as the stepping stone to something greater. It has also affirmed for me that no one succeeds alone, for every person who makes it there are hundreds of others who cheered them on, taught them something valuable and gave them opportunities. Stay humble.
Fun facts about me; I love chocolate. I am obsessed with fat and fluffy animals, especially when they run it makes me deliriously happy. I am extremely clumsy but have never broken anything (thankfully). There are only three remaining continents I have not stepped foot on yet and I am excited to be exploring them soon. Also, I am trilingual and somethings I think and speak in all three languages at once.
