Tell us about your business! What do you sell?
I'm a New Zealand-based blogger and blog coach. I equip women with the tools, resources and support they need to kick-start and/or grow their blogs. Working with bloggers from a range of niches (book bloggers, travel, beauty, health, lifestyle), as well as business owners who are looking to start a blog to complement their business website, means that I get to work with so many incredible women, and it's a joy to see them get excited about the possibilities! I currently offer 1:1 coaching as well as my online course, Confident Content Creation.
What inspired you to get started as an entrepreneur?
Back in 2008, a friend suggested I start a blog. He recognized my love of writing and photography and thought it would be just the thing for me. It was, and here I am, over a decade later, still doing what I love. In 2020, I realized that I had a lot of friends and online acquaintances that came to me for blogging advice, and there was something in that! Inspired by the blogs around me and the passion I saw in so many of my blogging friends, I decided to launch my business at the end of 2020 and help others in their blogging endeavours.
Why do you think it’s important for holiday shoppers to buy from Small Businesses this year?
Buying from small businesses not only supports creators financially but also encourages us in our pursuits. Every time we hear the PING of a new order, we do a happy dance. It's true. What’s the message you want to get out to people this Holiday Season?

While the holiday season can get pretty frantic and busy, it's important to remember to slow down. Take a breath. Look after yourself. Spend time with your friends and family. While the sales are pretty darn epic and the pressure is on to make use of those, nothing is more important than your well-being and spending time with the people you love.
