What kind of work do you do?

I am a multi-passionate entrepreneur spending most of my days reading, writing, learning, expanding, and helping others achieve their goals. My favorite tools I use are meditation, Reiki, and the power of action.

You are a published author, tell us all about your book!

What inspired you to write it?
I have always wanted to be a writer. I always thought I would write fiction or fantasy - but now I get to write about REAL magic, after having several life altering spiritual awakenings. I just knew I had to share the frequency of these golden nuggets with people who are ready to become aware, awake, and alive in this lifetime.

What did you enjoy most about the writing process?

Writing this entire book was a whole different level of healing. It was a true and visual reflection of not only where I need to grow, but who I have become.

What was the most exciting moment after it was published?
There is nothing comparable to the feeling of having your book published. A wonderful example of manifestation at its purest form. Ideas from the mind, wisdom from the heart, then printed on paper to be shared and a whole new universe held in your hand.

What do you hope readers will takeaway?
If you take anything away from this book, I hope it is a kindling of joy and inspiration. A spark of creativity. An echo in the deepest reaches of your heart which helps shake the dust from the chambers. A seed planted which gently grows towards the light.

What inspired you to get started as an entrepreneur?

I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was twelve years old selling homemade gifts and crafts on the corner of our property.  I knew at a very young age I did not want to work for someone else, I wanted to create things that bring joy to others - and that would be my work.

What was your biggest struggle to get things going for your online business?

Doing all the things and making sure all the things were perfect. Learning all the things and being stuck in analysis paralysis, when all you really need is ONE thing that you do well in, and find the easiest way for people to pay you and then market it and sell it. You don’t need the fanciest website, or all the bells and whistles when you first start out. The thing you need is just get out there and start.

Was there a time you thought about giving up? What kept you from quitting?
During the course of my entrepreneurship I have contemplated quitting and setting everything on fire more than I would like to admit. It can be hard to stay motivated - even if you are incredibly ambitious, like myself. There is no-one there to tell you what to do, when to do it, etc. You have to be accountable and responsible for it all (or at least until you can hire employees). What kept me from burning it all down was reflection on how far I have come, the energy I have put into everything, regaining my confidence, envisioning my goals and dreams, and allowing myself to continue to push forward at my pace - slow at times and rocket speed at others - but I never allowed myself to quit.

What have you learned since beginning?

I’ve learned that the coaching and healing space is a place full of mystery, wonder, and excitement. When stepping into the scene, it can be easy to become lost in all of the woo and lose you. Lose your focus, lose your way, and lose your own path. My advice is to stay true to your core values, don’t let anyone pull the wool over your eyes, and remain faithful to your spiritual practices, and your own lane. YOU are your own Guru.

What’s the best advice you’ve received?

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve been given would have to be about keeping my books. This is not talked about often in the entrepreneurial field and it’s sad because I see so many of us struggling come tax time! So here’s a tip - have only one business account and only one debit card for that account. ANYTHING business related (for your business) should be going into that account and coming out of that account. Then do yourself a favor and balance your books once a week or at least once a month. Then come tax time (or even quarterly taxes) you know exactly where you are with money and how to invest it to your advantage.

What advice would you give someone just starting out?

First, I would say congratulations on your journey! I see the sparkle in your eye and the passion in your heart. Keep your fire alive by taking it one step at a time. Master your craft, offer your craft, make it easy for someone to buy. Serve your audience over and over again by nurturing them. Then repeat!

When you get further along and are making consistent money, then it would be time to look at having a website, book, merch, multiple platforms, etc. For now, use your fire to believe in yourself and your mission by not being afraid to sell yourself. We so often buy into needing funnels and extras  that we lose ourselves in the “behind the scenes”. And if you are hiding behind the scenes, you can’t be serving your audience. They need you front and center! You’ve got this!

What’s the professional win you’re most proud of?

My biggest professional wins still continue to be sharing my story with others through being a guest on podcasts, blogs, and inside group memberships. I remember a time when the idea of this very thing used to scare me and had me shaking in my boots. Now, I look forward to the opportunity to speak my truth.

Is there a book you’d recommend to help with success and personal development?

Along with my own book, I would recommend:

The Big Leap, A Millionaire Mind, The Compound Effect, and You’re a Badass at Making Money. Each of these books have opened up my ideas of what my own success looks like to me and how I show up in the world.

Do you have a routine that you attest to your success? If yes, what is it?

My manifestation routine has helped me build success habits and I couldn’t live without it! I do a combination of affirmations, meditation, intentions, and visualizations in the morning, mindfulness and gratitude during the day, and meditation and breath work in the evening. At first this may seem like a lot, but honestly it’s just becoming aware of the use of my time while also paying mind to being here now.

How has social media played a factor in your success?

I’ve built a loyal and amazing audience on Facebook. It is small, but reliable. Having this audience has allowed me to scale my business and build solid relationships.

What are the biggest social media mistakes you see commonly made?

Trying to be in all the places all the time. Stick to one platform you enjoy the most and build your audience there. Once you have built your audience and you are making enough money to outsource, that’s when you can expand into different markets.

What is the business tool that’s been most helpful?

I have to say that Podia has been the most helpful platform in helping me build my courses, create email lists, and host a membership as well as affiliates - all for less than a hundred dollars a month. As far as writing goes, the most helpful tools have been the  website Reedsy and KDPSpy, making writing and formatting easier and checking out the trends.

Is there something you wish everyone knew?

My wish is that more people would wake up to the power that is them. That’s what my book is all about ya know? Becoming aware of the things that are completely in your power and the things that aren’t and then taking action on the things you can change. You don’t have to settle for conformity. You can create a life that is uniquely your own.

What’s coming up for you in the next few months?

In the coming months I have a course about money alchemy that will be launching as well as a new Adulting series of books. In these books I will be discussing in depth how to adult 101 - especially in areas that aren’t discussed often.

What has being successful taught you?

The secret to success is first defining what that looks like to you specifically, then just taking it step by step to achieve it. Doing the hard things, getting out of your comfort zone, and just keep going.

What are some fun facts about you?

Some fun facts about me would be that I am a first generation American on my Mom’s side, I used to be a Bank Manager before my spiritual awakening, and I was born and raised in the wilds of Alaska.
