Meet Sarah Fast... Mindset and Business Coach
Jun 12, 2019I met Sarah a few months ago, and she's one of those special, lovely, grounded people that you're grateful to have in your life! This lovely woman's message is heart-centered. I'm excited for you to get to know this lovely soul!
From Sarah
I'm a transformational mindset & business coach supporting entrepreneurs to experience growth in their business with more confidence, ease & fun. I live in North Dakota with my husband, 4 year old son Lincoln & 14 year old Pomeranian Poodle Bea. I love to travel, meet new people, and experience new things!
The following is my Interview with Sarah. My Questions in bold her answers follow beneath.
What kind of work do you do?
I'm an Entrepreneur at heart and am growing my online coaching business. I work with clients 1:1 & in group programs online. I support my clients to create more consistency in their business, to eliminate limiting beliefs, and to create the life they really want to experience each day.
What inspired you to get started as an entrepreneur?
The inspiration that I got from other people in the coaching field & challenges with my own limiting beliefs.
What was your biggest struggle to get things going for your online business?
Getting in my own way & being afraid to be vulnerable.
Was there a time you thought about giving up? What kept you from quitting?
Yes, it hasn't been easy for me that is for sure. What keeps me going is purpose and a passion for what I do. I love seeing others breakthrough fear and that really supports me in getting back up after I fall.
What’s the best advice you’ve received?
I have learned so much from the beginning yet the greatest lesson is to be patient with the process and to embrace where you are. I can be one to rush towards my goals and then not feel anything after getting there so I really try to focus on bringing more mindfulness into my life & business.
To be very clear why I want what I want every single day.
What advice would you give someone just starting out?
To take action right away even if it's scary and imperfect. You learn as you go and the best experience you will get is by doing what scares you.
What’s the professional win you’re most proud of?
Making it as an Entrepreneur for the past 5 years.
Is there a book you’d recommend to help with success and personal development?
Yes, the Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor!!! It is amazing and full of things you can implement to be successful.
Do you have a routine that you attest to your success? If yes, what is it?
I practice daily meditation that really has supported me to observe the content of my mind. I also love journaling, visualization, and yoga. Anything that gets me out in nature supports me in my creativity as well! I try to be outside as much as I can be to work and to play.
How has social media played a factor in your success?
It has helped me reach people that I would otherwise not reach. I can work from anywhere and connect with people from all over the world which is super amazing!
What are the biggest social media mistakes you see commonly made?
People trying to do things the way others do it and comparison. We are all on a different journey and something that works for someone else may not work for us.
What is the business tool that’s been most helpful?
Facebook, Instagram, Zoom & Mailchimp, and my journals !
Is there something you wish everyone knew?
Simply to focus on finding happiness within themselves each day and not to focus on finding it externally.
What’s coming up for you in the next few months?
The Unshakeable & Unstoppable Group Coaching Program gets started on June 17th. My Chaos to Calm Group Coaching Program gets started on July 8th and I'm taking 3 new clients for my 1:1 Coaching.
My Facebook community Awaken to More has new trainings on Monday's, Wednesday's & Friday's and my Awaken to More Podcast releases new episodes every Friday at 10am Central time. The next few months is going to be working on new offers, booking sales calls, and creating new content.
What has being successful taught you?
Success is subjective and that you can be successful wherever you are.
What are some fun facts about you?
I'm super fun, easy to talk to, a great listener, and kids & pets love me. I'm a pro packer, not into high heels, and love eating out at new restaurants. I have a cardboard cutout of Ellen DeGeneres in my office to keep me inspired when I'm feeling stuck in my own head.
