This week I had the pleasure to interview CEO of Sybil & Sarah and Host of the Intuitive Souls Podcast, Erica Russo.

Erica is the Founder of sybilandsarah.com; and the host of the Intuitive Souls Podcast. She is a wife, mother, coach, and intuitive. She helps women strengthen their intuition, and be fearless in their pursuit of happiness.

Our Interview (My questions in bold, her answers non-bold)

What kind of work do you do?

The driving force behind my business is to give people the tools to grow their spiritual awareness and learn to trust their intuition. I offer courses for a wide range of topics from psychic development, to crystal masterclasses as well as a monthly membership that includes trainings, group coaching, a private community, and more.

What inspired you to get started?

Honestly - Myself! A LOT of mindset work and personal development made me realize the stories I was telling myself. I have learned so much along the way that could help so many people that I realized it was an injustice not sharing it just because of fear.

What was your biggest struggle to get things going?

Being a parent and money. I'm not sugarcoating this. When you first start a business - it will cost you, even if you are on the frugal side. But with the right alignment and mindset, I was able to manifest exactly what I needed to get the ball rolling!

Was there a time you thought about giving up?

I never wanted to quit. I wanted to have a temper tantrum and lock myself in a closet at times but I never wanted to throw in the towel. My desire to help others is stronger than my fear.

What have you learned since beginning?

GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME!

What’s the best advice you’ve received?

Take life one day at a time.

What advice would you give someone just starting out?

Work on yourself as you work on your business. Change your mindset, keep on inspiring yourself by listening to podcasts, books, write words of encouragement to yourself! YOU GOT THIS!!

What’s the professional win you’re most proud of?

Being the light that inspires others to see the light in themselves. I love seeing the transformation process!

Is there a book you’d recommend to help with success and personal development?

Outwitting the devil by Napoleon Hill, Girl, wash your face by Rachel Hollis, Awaken The Giant Within by Tony Robbins.

Do you have a routine that you attest to your success? If yes, what is it?

I'm an early bird. I wake up at 5:30am before my kids and the rest of my house wakes up and I sip my morning coffee while doing 1 hour of mindset work, journaling, meditation. I must say that above everything else - my daily meditation practice has completely transformed my life so I would say that has been my most beneficial routine!

How has social media played a factor in your success?

It's a big chunk of it! I try and use my social media platforms for good and for inspiration. I do think that it is important to remember that building a social media platform is not the same as building and growing your business. You are going to have people that follow you just because they like what you have to say! They don't have any intentions on buying from you and THAT IS OKAY! At the end of the day, money is a bi-product of the work and light you share with the world.

What are the biggest social media mistakes you see commonly made?

COLD MESSAGING, using your platform SELL rather than to uplift, guide, and help.

What is the business tool that’s been most helpful?

The investment in Business Coaching.

You are not your thoughts.

The launch of my monthly membership portal!! Season two of the Intuitive Souls Podcast!

What has being successful taught you?

That it is really all about being of service to others.

What are some fun facts about you?

I'm left handed, my favorite tv show is The Office, I love Jesus but I cuss a little.
