Interview with One of the Amazing Black Friday Vendors!

Tell us about your business! What do you sell?

I’m an awarded and sought after business consultant and strategist for over 15 years with a background in education. I sell my consulting services, online courses, and membership clubs.

What inspired you to get started as an entrepreneur?

I am the first born generation in the U.S. from two immigrant parents who came in search of the “American Dream” and obtained it. As a middle child I naturally fell into the helper mode and never saw myself as more than just a supportive roll. I started to get opportunities to work with others and took a chance based on the example my parents gave me and it was well worth the risk.

Why do you think it’s important for holiday shoppers to buy from Small Businesses this year?

This year in particular has been full of many challenges and this has been specifically true for small business owners. Supporting small businesses during this holiday sales season is doing more than simply checking off your “I’m giving back” box on your to-do-list and feeling good about yourself INSTEAD… it’s giving small business owners validation, hope, and assurance that they will be able to stay open, meet their sales quotas, and keep their staff employed despite the possibilities of more lock downs and the sort due to this pandemic.

What is the HOT DEAL you have coming for Black Friday that we need to be on the look for?

My team and I have been working to release a heart project called The Idea Driven Club. This an exclusive and much-needed community for global networking and business development for the underrepresented entrepreneur (people who identify as female, people of color, lgbtq+, people with a disability, and any other minority group AND their allies).

What’s the message you want to get out to people this Holiday Season?

I want the small to medium-sized underrepresented business owner to know that their times of feeling isolated, challenged, overwhelmed, and frustrated are over. This is why we’ve created The IDEA Driven Club, so they can keep moving forward with all the inspiration, support, accountability, and opportunity they deserve without spending thousands on coursework, training, and coaching.
